BrightForge started in 2011 because our founder — a second-generation carpenter — was tired of watching homeowners get burned. Contractors disappearing mid-project. Estimates that doubled after demo. "Scheduling conflicts" that dragged a six-week job into four months.
So he built the opposite. A company that quotes fixed prices in writing. That runs every project under one permit with in-house trades. That answers the phone on the first ring and delivers bad news the same day it happens, not three weeks later. Fifteen years and 1,400 projects later, that philosophy hasn't changed.
The Invisible Work Is the Only Work That Matters.
Anyone can install tile that looks good on day one. The real test is what's behind it — the waterproofing membrane, the framing, the drainage, the ventilation. That's where cheap remodels fail and where ours are built to last.
We invest in the parts of the project you'll never see, because those are the parts that determine whether your kitchen is still beautiful in 15 years or a mold remediation project in 3. Every BrightForge proposal names the waterproofing system, the insulation standard, and the ventilation spec. No vague language.
Four Rules We Don't Break

Fixed Price, Always
Once you sign the proposal, that's the number. If we underestimated materials or labor, that's our problem — not yours. Change orders only appear when you request a change.
Daily Communication
You get a text or portal update at the end of every workday. Photos, progress, and what's coming tomorrow. No project runs quietly without an update.
In-House Trades
Our carpenters, tile setters, plumbers, and electricians are BrightForge employees. We don't hand your project to a rotating cast of subcontractors who've never worked together.
Fix It, Don't Argue It
If something isn't right, we correct it. Our contract includes a satisfaction clause that gives you the right to require rework at our cost if work doesn't match the approved scope.

Michael has personally overseen more than 800 completed projects. He still visits every BrightForge job site at least twice — once at rough-in and once at final walkthrough — because he believes the details at those two moments determine everything in between.
